IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED TO BOARD THE SHIP

U.S. Citizens:

  1. Valid Passport Required. Guests must travel with a valid passport which (a) expires no sooner than six (6) months beyond the last day of the cruise and (b) contains two blank passport pages.
  2. Alternative Travel Documentation will NOT be accepted. Because Journey of Jazz embarks from Canada and disembarks in the United States, a Valid Passport is the only accepted form of identification for this sailing.

Non-U.S. Citizens:
Non-U.S. Guests Must Have Valid Passport. Non-U.S. Guests are required to present a valid passport of their country of origin in order to be permitted to board the ship. Passports must be valid at least six (6) months beyond the last day of the cruise.. Further, each Non-U.S. Guest is responsible to secure any visas or permits required to visit our ports of call.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED TO VISIT PORTS OF CALL, REENTER THE UNITED STATES OR OTHER COUNTRIES

U.S. Citizens:
No Additional Documentation is Required. U.S. Citizens do not require additional documentation to visit any of the Ports-of-Call on a Jazz Cruises’ sailing or to reenter the United States.

Non-U.S. Citizens:

  1. Guest Must Secure Required VISAs. It is your responsibility to identify and obtain all required travel documents and have them available when necessary. Valid travel documents, such as passports, visas, inoculation certificate and family legal documents are required for boarding and re-entry into the United States and other countries. If you do not possess the proper documentation, you may be prevented from boarding your flight, ship, or from entering a country in the itinerary or reentering the United States. You may also be subject to fines. No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation. Guests on consecutive sailings must ensure they have the proper travel documents for their entire cruise vacation.
  2. Contacting the Embassy. The best way to learn what is required for each country is to contact the Embassy (Consular Services) of each country on your sailing itinerary or the visa service of your choice for specific visa requirements, information, forms, and fees for your nationality.
